Okay. Many of you are sailing into some uncharted water as we begin our investigation into the unit, “What have the Roman’s ever done for us?” Make no mistake about it, the investigation is challenging. Even for students who have done this many times before. Just remember your goal is to learn as much as you can about the accomplishments of Rome by your classes milestone. When looking at one of Rome’s accomplishments ask yourself, “Does this accomplishment still influence us today?” If the answer is no move on. If the answer is yes pursue the investigation into the accomplishment, Write your two columns notes in your notebook. You should have 10 or more accomplishments by the time you are finished with this part of the investigation.
